Combination of taguchi method and moora method for multi-objective optimization of SCM400 steel milling process

Abstract. In this article, a study on multi-objective optimization of the milling process is presented. CNC machine, cutting tool as TiAlN, experimental material SCM400 steel and coolant Caltex Aquatex 3180 oil have been used in experiment. The objective to simultaneously ensure minimum surface roughness maximum removal rate (MRR). Taguchi method has applied design an matrix with five input parameters, including flow, pressure, velocity, feed rate, depth. Analysis results by Pareto chart determined effect parameters output parameters. Moora determine values two criteria mentioned above. Finally, direction for further research also recommended
